Introduction to Raptor

Raptor is a C library that provides a set of parsers and serializers that generate Resource Description Framework (RDF) triples.

This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS-8.3 platform.

Installation of Raptor

Install Raptor by running the following commands:

./configure --prefix=/usr --disable-static &&

To test the results, issue: make check.

Now, as the root user:

make install

Command Explanations

--disable-static: This switch prevents installation of static versions of the libraries.

--with-icu-config=/usr/bin/icu-config: Use this switch if you have installed ICU-62.1 and wish to build Raptor with its support.


Installed Programs: rapper
Installed Libraries: libraptor2.so
Installed Directories: /usr/include/raptor2 and /usr/share/gtk-doc/html/raptor2
